Bike Miami Rides : Recap

Nice ride this morning with the Bike Miami Rides group. About 50 cyclists rode alongside City of Miami police officers through Coconut Grove, Little Havana, Brickell, The Roads & Viscaya. Aside from the strong winds, the weather was perfect.

These City of Miami rides are a step in the right direction. They help build confidence, community and encourage new cyclists to ride their bikes on the streets.

After Dark : Time Lapse Video

Here's a brief video recorded on October 8th during a quick jaunt from Simpson Park to Churchill's Pub. This was my first outing experimenting with my camera mount and the time-lapse feature on my camera. I never got around to posting this video it because I didn't like it, I came across it tonight and figured maybe someone would be interested in seeing it before I trashed it.

Note: Two days after this was taken I filmed the Emerge Saturday morning ride (see video) using the same technique and have not used the camera mount since.
